How cool is this. Voted coolest brand, long term client Aston Martin – first (again) just ‘pipping Apple’ no pun intended. Harley-Davidson romped in at third position – again a client. fourth on the list Rolex, fifth on the list and new to our client list Bang & Olufsen. Needless to say we are very proud. It’s rare that we escape from the office for a day these days but a few of us made an exception when we were invited by one of our long-term suppliers and friend to visit the home of the Red Arrows (who happen to be one of ‘his’ clients). Our day with the Red Arrows included our own private display, lunch and debriefing with the pilots, a real treat ‘and’ a massive eye opener, what a fantastically dedicated and talented team! (more…)

Working very closely with our friends at the Aston Martin Heritage Centre we have just completed the ‘Goodwood Revival 2011 project’. The objective: to raise awareness and make contact with potential new and existing customers. The event is always a massive sell out – and is regarded by many as THE Mecca for historic car owners and enthusiasts. Our involvement included: retro literature, special limited edition enamel badges, inquiry (more…)

Here at freestone we have always had what might be regarded, as a slightly unhealthy appetite for our caffeine. Some of our visitors seemed to have picked up the addiction (easily done). We all appreciate a good cup of coffee in the morning this much is true. Account Director David Coleman (barista maestro) has of late raised the bar somewhat with his latte art, almost a shame to drink it really, almost. So next time you’re in be sure to ask for a ‘Coleman’ special.

We have been working closely with Skoda and the organisers of the Tour of Britain cycle race due to commence on the 11th September, creating and fitting graphic liveries to 80 vehicles to be used on the Tour as official vehicles. Most of us today have really busy lifestyles. This tends to be reflected in our thinking. It’s certainly not unusual to only think about our ‘immediate’ time-frame, no crime there. Sadly it’s almost a luxury to consider anything else. Anyway, if you get a moment (sorry it’s quite a slow upload) you might find it interesting just to reflect on some of the Key Dates and Events in Stony Stratford’s History. They date back to 1194 and Richard I or (more…)

Thursday night and just over half the team ventured out into the wilds of downtown Milton Keynes to catch a burger and a movie, but not just any movie, it had to be the countrys latest block buster and ‘hilarious’ comedy “the Inbetweeners”. apparently the movie smashed UK records with £13m in the first weekend (2.5m on the first day). Not bad when you consider it is reported to have only cost 3.5m. (considered very low in the (more…)

Hot off the press, the Skoda UK team not only surpassed their own target of 200mph, but smashed the Bonneville class record (which we are told stood at 216mph for a 2 litre car) with an amazing 227.080mph. That’s over over 10mph quicker. Quite an achievement when you consider this is their first outing (considered a rookie team) and the car was still very much on the drawing board 3 months ago. Brilliant well done guys! The team were (more…)

Action Men, Andrew Bullock (right) and Terry Francis are heading off in October to Peru’s Machu Picchu in a quest to raise funds for the Samaritans (wearing our Freestone creative event shirts) Andrew’s certainly no stranger to this sort of challenge, in 2009 he trekked across Brazil (again wearing our shirts). We wish them both the very best luck luck in their new adventure.
